"When the thought-clouds in your mind are allowed to drift away,
the blue sky of your wisdom is revealed."
I take a step back from everything so that I can see a bigger picture. Have I been focused on something or someone that’s feeling not-great? I shift my attention for the moment, withdrawing into the center of myself, past my own thoughts, to a place of quiet knowing. Here is my diamond awareness – open and brilliant. I ask myself why I’m doing what I'm doing. Am I still heading in the right direction – one that feels good? I may be on track, and am I also present to what is happening? I want to enjoy the trip, not just the destination. What am I really trying to say? What really matters? What do I need, or want to offer? Once I have become clear about what's most important to me, I keep these objectives at the top of my list. If something appears urgent, I take a breath. What is the urgency? Does it fall under my definition of what’s important?
Maybe I need others to be clearer. Am I confused about what is expected of me? I take responsibility for myself & initiate a dialogue.
I take the time to check in with my Self regularly, so that I can keep to what feels right in each moment. My mind sparkles with clarity.
